Dr. Kevin Chang believes that prevention is the key to optimizing your dental health. He always says, “Even though we sleep and rest from a long day's work, the bacteria in our mouth never rests; they are working every hour of every day!” That is why Dr. Chang will perform very thorough exams checking your lymph nodes, your TMJ (temporomandibular joint), and your mouth for oral cancer, cavities, gum disease, and detrimental habits as clenching and grinding. There are also medical conditions that may affect your dental health, and vice versa. A thorough review of the medical history and a periodic blood pressure check will ensure a positive outlook on your overall health.

Infection control is very important to us. Our office follows the strict guidelines mandated by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. Kevin Chang and his staff maintain strict standards for sterilization and cross contamination processes for everyone’s safety. Patient eyewear is also required by Dr. Chang when procedures are done.
